1917 MIAMI IS LOOKING TO RETURN HOME

MIAMI wants to 'come home'. No, not the city of Miami, but the classic 37 ft. boat MIAMI that was custom built for the founder and developer of the city of Miami. American Entrepreneur Carl Fisher , who among many other things was the developed Miami Beach, had prestigious designer and builder George Lawley & Sons build a custom 1917 37ft Commuter-style motor launch. Hence the boat name “Miami”. MIAMI is now 107 years old, and spent most of those years in Michigan and since 1987 at Lake Tahoe California, where she has been completely restored and meticulously maintained by world renowned Sierra Boat Works Lake Tahoe. Has a full canvas boat cover, cushions and upholstery and all original chrome fittings and accoutrements. She is in excellent condition featuring a custom cold molded bottom bu Sierra Boatworks, and an upgraded Chrysler 440 V8 engine to perform at higher altitude lakes such as Lake Tahoe where she had been kept for years.
