DESCRIPTION:
I have an historically significant vessel for sale that is not a fixer-upper. She has been listed on a few site for about 10 months now and we really want to sell her to someone who loves the history of Miami boatbuilding and wooden composite boats. This yacht has all you need to sail to the Bahamas and the Keys. She was designed to race cruise and she would not be alive today if she was of low quality.
Boats are still being made like this today with strip-planking and epoxy. She has a swing keel and loads of bronze.
Her skin was replaced by my boatbuilding buisiness in 2010 and she has been to the Bahamas at least 25 times in her life.
The Munroe family of Coconut Grove and Biscayne Bay Yacht Club own her older sister "Comanche" and she is also still active.
Take a look at "Pirouette" on any search engine.
Simply type in "1958 Munroe Cutter for sale".
This is not a project, simply a beautiful classic in need of another steward.
