DESCRIPTION:

46’ Little Hoquiam commercial salmon boat built in 1974. This is the Bluefin model. Originally an Alaska boat, she’s got a freezer hold, would make a great albacore boat.

Very clean boat, well cared for over the years. Detroit 6-71 powerplant. MER 12kw genset powered by an Isuzu 3LD1 3 cylinder diesel in it, great little brick of an engine. Approximately 11,000 hours on it, but these routinely run for 40,000. Easthope 3 spool gurdies. RSW holds, includes brailer bags. In the interest of full disclosure, neither the freezer nor RSW systems have been fired up since I’ve owned the boat, but all the components are in place and intact. I’d imagine the refrigerant might need a recharge but otherwise they’re both relatively simple systems. Has a 4000 lb crab insert. Includes California and Oregon salmon permits.

Completely upgraded electronics package this past winter. This consists of an Airmar 1 kw chirp transducer as well as a 3 kw unit, Furuno FCV-295 sounder, Furuno TZT3 module, Furuno drs4d-nxt radar, brand new touchscreen hp laptop purchased last fall with TimeZero software installed on it. ComNav autopilot, works perfectly, along with 2 auxiliary steering stations, one outside the doorway starboard side and the other with a jog lever on the flying bridge.

Bloom Hydraulics deck crane/boom and winch, functioning perfectly. It's very handy for installing and using the crab insert, moving totes off the deck, etc. The boat has a Xantrex charging/inverter system installed on it. Dickinson diesel stove, as you can see in the pictures the cabin is well equipped with comfortable accommodations and has been well taken care of over the years

Keeping the crab gear and permit for another project. Willing to discuss selling with the boat for the right price. Survey completed this past December when hauled out to install the transducers.
