DESCRIPTION:
Length: 26' Beam: 8.25' Draft: 3' Shoal Draft
Engine: Yanmar YSB-8 diesel inboard re-built 2024
This is a great boat for day sails and is quite capable of accommodating extended overnight trips. The cabin has a large fold-down table, and a comfortable V-berth. The engine is clean, reliable and there are no leaks or smells in the boat.
The engine was hauled out recently and has new motor mounts, new reinforced engine bed stringers, new cutlass bearing, prop and shaft tuned and balanced, new Racor filter and housing. There are also new oil lines, a new fuel pump, new exhaust riser, new water muffler, new 12-gallon fuel tank, new hoses, new starter, new alternator, new thermostat, and a new Garmin electronic package with chart plotter.
There is all new wiring throughout the vessel, a new Air Head composting toilet. There’s a new forestay, new head sail (from precision sails 130% genoa), new roller furling and foil, new stainless steel operable windows with screens (from Newfound metals), new window shades, and new Lexan port light panels re-bedded with hardware, a new 17 lb. mantis anchor and roller, a new auxiliary outboard motor bracket, a new Bimini on a reinforced Bimini Frame, and the chain plates, stanchions and hardware have all been re-bedded.
The boat includes a vhf radio, cockpit cushions, a two-burner alcohol stove, two sinks with running water, a 19-gallon water holding tank, and there’s plumbing with a new pressure pump, and the running lines are all in good shape. With sleeping accommodations for 4, this boat is well suited for coastal cruising and can be trailered on the heavy-duty trailer that’s included, and there’s a gin pole and hardware for raising the mast. It’s a great first boat for those wishing to learn to sail or for sailors wanting to downsize.
