1976 SkipJack 20' Custom Pilothouse
**Just ran it 80 miles on overnight surf trip 8/5/2025**
20' Skipjack Open hull rebuilt from stringers up by previous owner in 2016 with beautiful custom Radon style pilot house.
Legendary hull for the California coast, hand laid glass, heavy duty, smooth dry ride, and only 21' LOA. Fits in your driveway on 2018 custom heavy duty aluminum trailer. This boat is one of kind, a total head turner every where you go. Built for places like Channel Islands dive, fish, surf, camping adventures! Turn key adventure vessel. Get out there!
Motor:
Rebuilt (2016) 350 Mercruiser 5.7l 260hp - simple powerful easy to maintain runs perfect, total hours unknown. I have put less than 50hrs on it.
NEW exhaust manifolds / risers / butterfly clappers / thermostat / enclosed cooling / flushed / oil change service all 2024/2025
Fuelsytem:
3 tanks = 105 gallons (2 x 20 gal saddle tanks & 65 gal main tank. Installed during 2016 rebuild.
Polished tanks / fuel 2024, NEW water fuel separator, NEW Fuel Pump, NEW Fuel Filter, NEW Fuel Gauge (monitors main tank only)
Outdrive:
Alpha 1 Gen 2 - Rebuild 2023/24, NEW gimbal bearing (2023), NEW U joints and drives, NEW bellows, NEW impeller, seals, oil changed (2024). Excellent prop and NEW shift cable (2024). Hydraulic steering. A solid, dependable outdrive.
Electronics:
2 NEW batteries with switch, SIMRAD 4G broadband all-in-one radar, depth, scan, chart plotter, navigation. VHF & stereo bluetooth.
Trailer:
Absolutely stout, custom 2018 Aluminum trailer. NEW Brakes added 2022. NEW Tires 2025. This trailer is K+ new.
