FULL DESCRIPTION

There is a California Commercial Salmon Permit attached to El Toro.

El Toro is a bare bones vessel, this is a project Radon hull. The vessel has been re-worked with a new stern and outboard bracket as well as a new 2017 Tohatsu BFT 150 and a new 105 gallon fuel tank. It has a new simrad 4G radar and Simrad evo3 12” screen. The older Furuno sounder works well. The electrical has been re-worked with new batteries. The sump system has been plumbed and re-wired with new pumps and hoses and there are 2 thru-hulls with separate bait pumps. There is an electric EZ puller and plug wired. New stainless steel back deck handrails.

El Toro is a unique vessel originally modified and ran as a small boat mooching commercial salmon fishing boat out of Bolinas CA. When we got her she was rough but clearly well loved. After fishing on the vessel for a short time the owner decided to make some big modifications to the boat including a new radar, new stern and sinking the above deck saddle tanks below decks.

The hull is a fiberglass over plywood Radon original build. It has a hand worked fiberglass front lip for transiting the bow in mooching situations. The layout is an offset cabin with a port side walk around. There is new bottom paint. The trailer is in working order.

The boat needs a new home with a project oriented owner who can bring out her potential. There are several systems that still need to be installed and re-worked to maximize fishing ability. Details and suggestions available upon request.
