DESCRIPTION:
1978 35.5 for sale in Sea Bright NJ.
Classic Ted Hood Design
Shoal Draft (3'9" with centerboard-up) Cabin sole has soft spots at mast step and sole needs work. I covered with plexiglass and small carpet. Boarding ladder on transom. Teak rail and handholds were oiled last season and could use refresh. Westerbeke diesel. Nice sails, main sail is like new. Have dodger and frame that needs to be cut and a bimini as well. Teak cockpit table. Brand new Standard Horizon radio with GPS receiver. Raymarine Autopilot, Water tanks were cleaned and have access/inspection ports. Incredible wood work on these interiors. Was at boat yesterday and apologies for not noting engine hours.. Has a 25lb CQR that I wouldn't rely on, was going with a Mantus 45. New Rule bilge pump.
Newer electrical panel. Galley stove/oven like new uses CNG gas. (Same as a house stove, lighter than air and very safe unlike propane) Filling these are very inexpensive in comparison to propane. Two large CNG tanks. These Bristol 35.5's were dubbed the Lincoln Town Car of sailboats. .
