DESCRIPTION:
Catalina 25 in excellent condition, and heavy duty trailer. Fixed keel, 4.5’ draft. Asking or best reasonable offer. The twin axle trailer, with adjustable axles is also in excellent shape with brand new brakes, wheel jack, coupler, and completely rewired (lights, plug, junction box). If you want just the sailboat I’m asking based on its condition. Trailer alone is . Delivery of boat to your location at cost is available. Trailer is currently under another boat but I can send pictures of it also.
Current rate for year long slip here in Crescent City is . (~/month) I’m selling as I now have a larger boat for cruising.
Slip in Crescent City, CA is paid through the end of August. Slip can be renewed, live aboards allowed. Local dry secure storage is /month.
Sailboat has an extendable cabin rooftop with rain cover, roller furling jib, mainsail, self tailing winches, anchor, rode, fenders, mooring lines, sail cover, newly tuned and cleaned carburetor 8 hp low hour Mercury outboard on a stainless kicker plate with new tank and hose, life ring, propane tank and cook top, standard head, V-birth, two settees and wide quarter-berth on starboard side. Mast step has pinned slot for ease of stepping and unstepping. It sleeps 5-6 but quarter berth is better suited for one person. A removable plate can be placed in aisle between settees to create an athwartship double bed. Cushions are new and interior is in like new/excellent condition. Sails are crisp, and lines are in good shape. Standing rigging is sound as are the chain plates. The boat does not need anything and is ready to sail. The boat was originally designed for an outboard so it does not have a prop and shaft to maintain. Exterior of companionway teak needs refinishing-interior is good. Propane tank currently sits in cockpit area but I have a teak and steel platform that I’ll include to mount it on the transom if desired.
Bottom paint is about one year old. It can be hauled out on trailer and refreshed if desired. Deck is rock solid with no soft spots. Boat is dry and all ports are watertight.
I have an inflatable dinghy with oars and a 2 hp outboard, and other equipment that can potentially also be available if needed or desired.
