DESCRIPTION:

I've got too many boats. This one has to go. Very clean, trailerable, off-shore battle wagon. Twin gas – two new crate Indmar 5.7l engines. Less than 100 hours on new engines, runs strong & smooth. Refurbished Volvo AQ280 outdrives. New helm interior and cockpit combing pads. 3-axle TrailRite trailer in excellent condition with hydraulic brakes and great rubber.

FSBO:

Marine architect Jack Cole’s finest work. Full stand-up interior with 7’ of headroom. Easily sleeps four in two berths, including the mid-cabin Queen berth situated under the bridge deck. Sea Magazine’s Brokers’ Choice Award. Everything is built-in and integral which makes an incredibly sturdy and clean looking trailerable offshore fishing yacht. The rigid T-Top provides protection from the sun on the flybridge, mounting for an 8-rod rack, and striking looks. This is a very clean, mostly original, incredibly functional Skipjack 28 in the strongest old-school thick-hulled year he built them.

I bought this boat a few years back in Palm Desert, CA. It was in really nice original condition but had twwn motors. Right after I bought this and towed it to Nor Cal, my dream boat (Blackfin 29) came available and I bought it, as well. This one sat in dry storage for a couple of years while I worked on and fished the Blackfin. Once I got to the Skipjack, I replaced both engines with crate Indmar 5.7l from Michigan Motorz, including rebuilt or replaced engine accessories and outdrive units. So, the engine/outdrive package is in virtually brand new condition. Should be a strong and problem free runner for many years.
