DESCRIPTION:

Cal 34 MK III is for sale in San Pedro, CA.
Cal 34's were conceived as a true racer-cruiser, and early promotional literature stressed her racing performance. This 1978 Cal 34 MK III is a fast sloop, cruising sailboat.
She has been refit over the last 3 years. EXTERIOR:
She has new running rigging with Dyneema halyards (3), new mast hardware, brand new sails (main and 100% Genoa), Interlux topside and hull paint, new bottom job done February 2024, new sails (main and 100% Harken furled genoa), brand new Harken Vang Master boom Vang, new stainless propane BBQ, new Sunbrella Canvas and recently serviced self tailing winches.
INTERIOR:
Reupholstered custom interior, new propane stove/oven, new water pump and all faucets/shower head
MECHANICAL:
Rebuilt transmission and major engine tune on her Westerbeke 30, added additional oil capacity and filtration to complement her all synthetic oil reserves, , owner put approximately in her over the last 6 years.
She is for sale with an additional blooper sail for downwind fun.
Pacific Breeze has been meticulously maintained and upgraded to make life sailing, on the hook or partying at the dock pleasurable and comfy.
She handles very well with her wheel steering and can handle 6-8 passengers with ease. We have slept up to 6 adults however 4/5 is way more comfortable.
This later Cal 34 MK III has a more conventional layout, with galley aft to port, quarter berth and chart table to starboard. The saloon of the last version has a settee to starboard, dinette to port. V-berths in the forward cabin with the head between the main cabin and forward .
She is absolutely ready for many adventures to Catalina and day sailing.
