Up for sale is our 15'4" 1979 Boston Whaler Striper just in time for boating fun with the family. This boat is a true time capsule survivor in pristine condition and you will never see another like it. Registered until 2025 and run in the Sierras last summer, it is great for a day of boating, fishing, wakeboarding, or tubing.
It has been trailered, covered, and garaged for over 20 years and looks like the day it was built. We are the second owners of this honest and original American classic. It has been lovingly cared for, and has been used for only 58 total hours! You have to see it to believe it. Unlike other classic whalers, this rare and sought after Striper model was designed with a slightly deeper "V" for lakes, rivers, and coastal ocean waters. The hull is completely dry with no signs of water ever reaching the foam.
It comes with its original pedestal seats as well as mahogany benches. The bimini top has rarely seen sunlight and is like new. Lots of extra equipment including three brand new propellers for use at different elevations, a new steering cable still in the box, an extended range fuel tank, new compass, accessory charger, and mounts for VHF etc.
The original 70-hp Evinrude 2-stroke motor has only 58 original hours and is absolutely beautiful. The boat also comes with a 4-hp Mercury 4-stroke trolling motor with virtually no hours on it.
The trailer is pristine with all new heavy-duty axle including bearing buddies, new leaf springs, new tires, new wheels, bearings etc. as well as new synthetic bunks, rollers, winch strap, and transom saver.
This iconic boat comes with a cover, seat/throw cushions, dock lines and bumpers, life jackets, anchor, and more.
