Welcome to Tawani, a 1979, Whitby Alberg 37 MkII that has been across the Atlantic, to the Caribbean, Labrador Sea, and back!
We recently are back from a voyage to the Bahamas from Noank, CT and back. She is now sitting comfortably in New Bern, NC eager to continue her voyage as she is meant to be in the deep blue sea. We on the other hand need to get back to work life for a bit and are hoping to find her a new owner who will enjoy sailing her as much as we do.
We bought her in Maine, sailed her up and down the New England coast and then down to the Bahamas. (We have everything needed for bluewater, except a life raft.)
Some short-term needs
- The mainsail track is slightly misaligned after a rigger re-riveted a section and just needs a few mm ground down.
- The engine could use motor mounts and alignment. The good news is that we purchased and have all 4 mounts. They just need install.
