DESCRIPTION:
1981 S2 6.7M / 22' Hull # SSU22090M81G
Sails: Main, 110 Jib, 135 Jib/Genoa, Spinnaker (Red/Black/White). All sails are in very good condition. The Main has battens. The 135 Jib is only a few years old. New CDI Flexible Furler for the Jib or Genoa.
Hull is in excellent condition. New antifouling paint. With keel and rudder retracted the boat draft is 1ft. Max Draft is 4.5ft. Total displacement is 2,200 lbs. This boat does not have a swing keel. The keel is a 770lb. daggerboard that is raised and lowered with a crank. The cabin on this boat has not been updated and the headliner carpet has been removed from the ceiling. We use the cabin for storage. Note: The daggerboard housing runs through the cabin limiting the cabin's usefulness. There is a new porta potty (never used). All navigation lights work, switches are new. If you are thinking about overnighting, this might not be your boat.
2019 Yamaha 4 HP 4 stroke outboard. Low hours model F4.
Misc: Main sail cover, docking lines, anchor & rode.
Trailer: 20' Carnai Trailer with new bunks and bunk supports. Trailer in very good condition. Handles this boat with ease. This is not the original trailer. Tongue weight loaded is 250lbs. We always use a short boat lift (included) under the stern when the trailer is not attached to a vehicle. Stern tie down included. New spare tire mounted to the trailer.
This is a solid boat with complete rigging and a new 4:1 two pulley system with A frame to assist with stepping the mast. The boat was on Long Lake in Harrison, Maine last year and there were no problems with the hull, deck or rigging. Contact me by email if you want to take a look.
