DESCRIPTION:
Boat is located on the Julienton river in Townsend, Ga. Cutter rig with Harken roller furling. Original Perkins 4-108 with 2800 hours, runs smoothly. New engine mounts. New starter and heat exchanger. New Hearth Transmission. New Propane/electric water heater. New Raymarine wind, speed and depth instruments. New water pumps. Bottom sand blasted and barrier coated.
I have spent the last 3 years rehabilitating the boat, so I have not sailed her much . Just 50 miles offshore. Part of the problem is finding people to sail with, but the boat is completely ready to go. I am in the process of replacing the refrigeration compressor and painting the boat. The only standing rigging that has been replaced is the forestay, which was given a larger diameter wire to acomodate the new roller furler. The rest of the standing rigging is original and in excellent shape. The running rigging has been replaced. There are two bow anchors with 100' of chain each. A plow and a Danforth. There is no windlass. The stanchions have not needed any attention. They don't leak. The Genoa has been replaced to accomadate the roller furler. I still have the original hank-on sail. There is a spinnaker which I have never used. The sails are in good condition. No solar or wind turbine. There are a couple of older VHS radios. No AIS. It has Edson wheel steering. The boat is essentially original as it came from the factory. I have just replaced things that were worn out. The wind, speed and depth instruments are new and working. It does have a small inverter. It does need a chartplotter. That is the one thing I would add to make a 300 mile passage.
The HIN is cpdt0112m84d
You can get a lot of this from Sailboatdata.com
The stuffing box was redone when I bought the boat
The stove/oven are propane and there is an emergency shut off.
The diesel space heater was originally supplied from the day tank, but parts were missing; so I replaced it with a dedicated diesel tank mounted on the mast that is gravity fed.
No leaks or soft spots. Boat is currently getting a complete paint job.
