30 foot Bruce King design with shoal keel.

9/19/2021 UPDATES
Electric and manual bilge pumps have repaired 9/19/2021.
More pictures uploaded.

This is a classic 1980’s cruising yacht in very good condition, with a comfortable and well laid out cabin and outstanding sailing manners, well balanced and easy to sail. Lovingly cared for and kept up to date.

Repowered in 1999 with a Universal M3-20B diesel, 250 hours and well maintained.
New alternator in 2021.
3 new batteries in 2021, 2 deep cycle house batteries and one high CCA starter battery.
Solar battery charger and tender added in 2021 with smart controller.
3 blade brass prop.

Standing rigging replaced in 2019.
All running rigging and lines are recently updated or in good condition and led to the cockpit for single handed sailing.

Jib is in great shape, new in 2016.
New in 2021 roller furling with stay foils (won’t foul when raising the jib).
Full battened mainsail in great shape, new in 2016. 2 reefing points with jiffy reef system, all parts inside the boom replaced in 2020.
MackPack main sail cover system and Lazy Jacks new in 2016.
Both sails professionally cleaned and serviced each spring with sail bags for storage.

Upgraded cabin top self-tailing winch, and two upgraded 2-speed self-tailing winches in the cockpit.

Binnacle with compass and leather wrapped wheel, sunbrella cover.
B&G Zeus 7 inch chartplotter, NMEA2000 and SeaTalk1 compatible (plug & play to add auto pilot planned for next year).
Autohelm depth, electronic compass and wind display.
Waterproof USB and wireless smart phone charging station and holder at the helm.
Older VHF radio, but the antenna and cabling have been upgraded to accept AIS in 2019 (planning to upgrade the radio next year).
Mast mounted radar is older but working in theory, I never used it.
2019 Stereo system, with remote, aux, blue tooth and excellent speakers.
New LED mast light, steaming light, deck lights, and bow lights with new wiring.
New non-slip dense foam cockpit cushions in 2021.
Shore power with two cables.

Plow anchor with 150′ rode, 20′ chain & pulpit roller.
Anchor locker was rebedded before it ever leaked (a common problem in E30).
Hull is in excellent condition, no crazing, always waxed and covered for the winter.
The hull is solid fiberglass and the deck is balsa-cored. The deck edges are solid glass and the joint glassed over to prevent leaking. Most though-deck fittings are mounted in solid glass, which was a rare foresight that surely helped prevent delamination.
All ports and winches rebedded in the last two years with Bedit.
Double life lines with 3 gates.
Swim ladder on stern.

Bottom paint done spring 2021.

6’2” headroom in the cabin, headliner is in near perfect condition.
Sleeps 6 with a private head and shower.
Upholstery below is mostly in very good condition, foam in cushions is firm.
Extensive woodwork in the cabin is clean and bright, teak & holly sole.

Head rebuilt in 2019 with new hoses and new macerator in 2021.
Pressure hot and cold water. I cannot confirm hot water works, I’ve never used it.
New 2 burner alcohol stove, used once.

Extras: Life ring with stern rail mount, boatswains chair, current flairs, 3 large bumpers, rail mounted gas grill with new regulator in 2021. 4 life jackets. Shrink wrap winter cover and frame, removed and labeled to be re-usable.

I have the manuals and receipts for all electronics, engine, and replaced systems, and a log book for all repairs going back many years.

What isn’t perfect? No secrets here, these are the projects I planned for this winter:
Track down a short in the wiring to Admiral Panel.
Figure out why the fan belt wears unexpectedly fast.
Run 10ga wire from battery to macerator, replace the switch in the head, and add a 20 amp circuit breaker. I have all the parts, just need to install.
Figure out why the jib doesn’t go all the way up, it stops about 3 inches short.
Repair a small tear in mainsail and binnacle covers.
Replace the engine shut off cable, current one is a little stiff, I have the new cable.

Priced to sell quickly now so you can save money by doing these winter projects yourself and save me the winter storage, or wait until I do them this winter but I will be raising the price come spring… If I don’t change my mind about selling her ;-}…

Currently moored in New London, CT. She will be hauled in late October if she hasn’t sold by then.
