Very deep over the thigh gunwales for safe ocean navigation and ease of fishing. It is a 19' 1987 Newbay with factory Offshore Bracket. This boat has lots of head room. You can easily stand under the top with plenty of space. It has the same classic hull design as a Glasply because Newbay and Glasply joined forces for a few years in the 80's. I have set this boat up to make the ultimate fishing machine at an affordable price. No need to spend or or more for an Ocean going boat. The solid transom and floor was replaced in 2018 with all new foam installed. I extended the floor width 4 inches on each side to increase deck space making a great toe kick. All fiberglass work was performed by the Pros at Invisible Repair in Tacoma. No cut transom blow back when backing down in current or a stiff wind with this Offshore Bracket and solid transom design. You have lots of deck space for you and your friends and plenty of deck space to stack crab pots or land big Halibut. There are 4 Scotty Electric plugs for electric reels, down riggers, or crab pot puller. Two mounted mid ship and two under the transom cover.

Seats are Wise Marine Grade Pilot chairs with adjustable slides and shock absorbing suspension pedestals for a smooth ride over choppy seas. Seats are mounted on Engel Rigid coolers for additional storage space. This boat is great for crabbing, chasing Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut and occasionally Tuna. It will easily run 45 miles offshore for Halibut or 60 miles for Tuna with no problem at all. It is plumbed for a live bait tank with Bronze through hull scoop that allows you to pressure wash the deck while on plane, Stainless Steel diverter/shut off ball vale and 1100GPH pump to keep your anchovies alive and well when Tuna fishing. Scoop can be shut off or opened to alternate between the bait tank and the high pressure 3.5GPM Johnson wash-down pump.

7 Rod Stainless Steel Rocket Launcher keeps your variety of rods available and within reach at a moment’s notice, and 6 other side mounted rod holder are for spares and comes with a large rail mounted Magma bait cutting board in one of the pictures.
Bilge is equipped with one Rule 360GPH pump and a massive SeaChoice 3700GPH pump to make cleaning the deck and flushing the bilge a breeze.

There is one LED cabin light, one berth light and two LED deck lights for that pre-dawn prep. Two Maintenance Free Marine Grade batteries keep everything charged and running smoothly. Starboard and Port side windshield wipers as well. Two marine radios. One is a standard VHF Hummingbird and the other an Icom IC2300H transceiver 2 meter radio with a new marine grade quality fiberglass antenna. value just for the radio and antenna. Massive range and clarity with this brand new 2 meter ham radio. Allows you to listen to charter boat banter while fishing.

The main fuel tank is 55 gallons, give or take a few gallons. It is constructed of thick marine grade aluminum (much thicker than the factory tank), brand new in 2018 and custom fabricated by a local Marine fuel tank builder out of Tacoma. The 30 gallon auxiliary tank mounts up in the berth and gives you a total of 85 gallons to safely return back to port after a long day of ocean navigation with just a flip of the diverter valve.

The motor is a newer 2020 Yamaha F150XB 4 stroke with less than 100 hours on it. It gets awesome fuel economy and is mounted on a factory offshore bracket which make this boat fish like a 23footer. No expensive inboard/outboard fuel consumption problems with this motor and it purrs like a kitten.

The trailer is like new! The bunks have been rebuilt with two (each) 2x6 treated lumber, stainless fasteners and new carpeting in 2022. All galvanized including a new in 2022 extended hot galvanized trailer tongue to give you 2 more feet reach for ease of launch and retrieve. The surge brakes on the rear axle have less than 200 miles on them and the brakes have a wash down system to rinse them clean of salt water. Just hook up the garden hose and let it rip. All tires are like new with very little wear.

Included are the anchor and approximately 250' of 3/8" Anchor Rode. A wired Noco Genius G1100 battery tender, fire extinguisher, 3 Cabelas life jackets, Optronix compass included. Additional Equipment: White West Marine, Marine Grade bean bag for an additional passenger.
