Big Ruby is a sturdy and charming boat that rivals earlier Nordic Tugs for build quality and design. There were not many 32's built — you will usually find the 30' — but the 32’ provides much more salon space and a larger beam for better longer range cruising.

The engine has been recently tuned-up, including a multi-point inspection, an oil change, new oil filter, new fuel filter, new starter motor and and a new relay.


This tug has been kept in freshwater and mostly taken on short trips while we’ve owned it. However, the owner before us was an avid fisherman and we are happy to pass along all of the equipment, lks, etc. that we inherited when we bought the boat.

Big Ruby has a single stateroom/berth with an enclosed head and a raised pilothouse with excellent visibility. The salon, with its combined galley and large L-shaped dinette, is very comfortable and well-appointed. The dinette also converts to a double berth for additional sleeping space.
