DESCRIPTION:
****UPDATE: 1 engine out, needs new 502 shortblock due to leaking heat exchanger that blew my brand new engine, so pictures show it with engine in. I even had heads checked afterwards even though I just had them gone over and ready to go. Will need some work and why this is cheap as this is a K boat new. Pictures were before it sat, boat will need serious cleaning inside and out, but a solid boat ****

REDUCED PRICE -COME AND MAKE A CASH OFFER-I REALLY WANT THIS GONE SO OPEN 100% to offers! Boat will need serious detailing, headliner/some interior stuff from sitting long term (TOTALLY NORMAL for sitting boat) and some upholstery work. It will need a new 502 short block (can be purchased for ), plan on putting in some work, but you will need to clean/fix this and do this or that so NOT turn key, This is 3+ days of serious cleaning-it's BIG, plus 3 days replacing/fixing this or that from sitting, and 2-3 days for the engine if you are slow like me and this assumes you know what you are doing but this boat will need work from sitting for years and will be dirtier than photos. Video uploaded to see April 2024 condition.
This is a 1989 boat with VERY LOW HOURS on it (700 hours total), with a rebuilt FRESH ENGINE (never started) and HEADS redone for the other engine that will need a shortblock. Comes with new risers, manifolds, caps, rotors, hoses, starters, rebuilt engine a few years back never started (no warranty as builder is deceased).
I purchased as part of a VERY large estate sale and had BOTH engines rebuilt and 1 had an issue with water in a cylinder from the manifold and will need a new short block, but the heads are already done. The engines have the the highly sought after rectangular port heads on the engines and everything freshly rebuilt including the heads, new pistons, et cetera.. This all was done 6 years back and sitting, so zero miles on the engine. Included with the boat is a 6 wheel trailer 15K capacity Haulmark trailer and a TON of extra parts, lubricants, cleaners, wings, anchor, cushions, ship to shore cable, fenders, skis, cleaners and MANY things as the previous owner loved his boat, however just plan on cleanings stuff from sitting. The outdrives with almost NO HOURS ON THEM, the marine mechanic who took them off said he thinks they only were used for a few days not even a season! The entire boat has 696 and 708 hours on the boat from the time it is new and they are all replaced. Even 2 rebuilt 780 CFM Quadrajet Electric choke carbs, new starter and other one was gone over by a starter shop, et cetera. I figured if the engine are rebuilt, go the extra mile, so all new hoses and such too.
There is one soft spot as you go into the cabin that the there is plywood on top of the encapsulated wood that I would replace in time in a 1 square foot area. I just like being transparent, not a big deal at all, but otherwise solid as I see it all around. I pulled the carpet in the video, but gain I have plenty of carpet for the boat included and TONS of extra fabric too on rolls.
The hull has NEVER been painted, not driven up on sand and such and appears in terrific structural shape shape-I'd welcome a marine survey too. Boat comes with ALL receipts and comes with books of paperwork as the estate sale was from the original owner. I'd LOVE to play with this myself but I am relocating and lost interest years ago.
There is a smaller cabin that you would sleep 2 adults (4 if crammed), a fridge, toilet, hot water heater, 4 marine deep cycle batteries that are now removed and will need replaced (costs about for 4 1000CCA deep cycles), 20 amp marine professional battery charger mounted onboad when when you ened to charge the batteries. It will come with TONS of extras, including life jackets, extinguishers, the extra wings that sit on the back not installed now, a TON of extra marine maintenance equipment-PALLETS of extras even down to the water skis and some tow behind sail toy (wind surfer?).
Don't worry about the props either, I have them and they are new or near new and I also have a spare 4 blade set that need repaired if repairable for 4 props total. I was told the guy who is in the family that it was going 67 MPH with much more in the throttle and after researching this I know these motors are a little peppier than stock and have carbs with flame arrestors on them and should run roughly 80 MPH as this is a Cigarette type Hull. The boat is considered a 35' I think because of the rear platform, but it is listed as a 33 since they changed the way they rate them now. Exhaust can be through the stern or the out drives at the flick of a switch from the factory-VERY NEAT, but currently goes through the back in the loud option.
Trailer also was serviced with a new master cylinder years back, new brake lines to the rear and both crank jacks rebuilt a few years back. Of course brake lines bled and such too and the trailer braked properly when towed.
Sold as-is, no warranty like very other used car/boat out there.
If you call and want me to list on your website, forget it so do not waste your time or mine. I am leaving the USA and will be gone shortly so cutting all assets over the next year. best time to get ahold of me is 10-7 Monday through Friday. Bring some cash for a deposit, we will make a simple 1 page contract (it's as-is sale) and the boat/trailer/pallets of goodies are yours.
