COLLECTORS Note: In 2-1/2 years, this boat law status qualifies as a "ANTIQUE" by the state of FL and gains registration cost reduction. This is a RARE event for boats because the limitation by the law is that, "Boat must have retained its original ENGINE." This is a GLS15 with it’s original Yamaha 70Hp. Proof is on the original sales receipt which I will provide at time of sale along with all original documentation, etc. See pictures.

Even if you are not someone looking for a "showboat" for resale/appreciating value, but instead are a bay or flats fisherman as I was then this boat is for you. I respect my toys. For example, after EVERY outing, before putting my boat to bed, I HAND GREASED everything, i.e., hydraulic tilt push rods, steering rods, hubs, etc.

As the original owner, I can provide details including documentation & photos showing the thoroughness of maintenance, storage, and general care. This boat, if same level of care continues by new owner, will only increase in value.

Boat has been kept in pristine condition since purchased NEW. 1 Owner. Full service documentation. All OEM. I use non-ethanol fuel. Beautiful 1994 Yamaha 70 HP, runs great w/no issues, new water pump (less than 5 hours on it), new zinc tab and motor bars, new gaskets, fully-surveyed – all features work as advertised. Low hours. Top-notch maintenance including complete desolution of residual deposits (photo docs). Original Stainless steel prop. Runs great, develops top speed. Gorgeous boat I am reluctant to let go. Come get it before I change my mind. I’m serious.

1994 Hull is all original and in outstanding condition. Boat and motor garage-kept. Gelcoat is in good condition throughout. Back deck where tank sits needs de-staining a little = Minor cosmetic blemishes, easily buffed or touched up. Has Yamaha instrument cluster and Hummingbird WideEye depth finder. Comes with two fuel tanks and new fuel line hose. Cushions need some new snaps but coverings in good shape. Very little sun exposure due garage-kept. No fiberglass oxidation. Glossy hull appearance as boat has never remained in water over night or on any boat lift. EVER.

The rust-free trailer has been in the water twice, maybe three times since I special ordered it new and is a custom trailer with manufacturer’s recommended hull loading for this boat. Weight support/beam rollers are top-of-the-line (soft amber). Trailer has buddy bearings, electric signal and side-trailer lights, rugged guide-on, PVC covered guide poles. The recent trailer purchase was approximately and is included in purchase price.

PLEASE: Serious buyers/collectors only. Sale includes free stuff: safety gear/anchor/spare tire as well as TWO Humminbird LCD WIDE-EYE fish finders, both in great condition. This is a creme-puff of a boat that has lived a life of TLC. If you are a bay fisherman and/or just appreciate how terrific these BW GLS15s are, you will definitely be glad you found this one. I must downsize now but I will surely miss Flounder fishing with this one.

For those who have a mechanic’s eye: Please notice the BRAND NEW head, gaskets, covers for both the cylinder heads and the water jacket. The BLUE ‘grease’ that is visible at the interface/gasket line of all head covers and accessory coolers is how I have kept ZERO corrosion from occurring. I do this at every opportunity to prevent corrosion. This is a trick I learned in the Navy, maintaining aircraft in the sea-salt spray environment on aircraft carriers. It works!

About 2 years ago, I PREEMPTIVELY bought OEM parts including all new ZINC, HEAD, GASKETS, ETC ETC and completely removed all internal salt deposits that accumulated over the past 20 years. Despite the fact that most all boat owners run their motors with fresh water after use, seldom does the THERMOSTAT reach the temperature for it to open. And, unless it opens, the fresh water WILL NOT flush the salt. Knowing this, I just theorized that after so many years (even without any issues), there had to be salt deposits inside the water jacket. Boy was I right. I opened and inspected. With significant salt deposits, I cleaned it thoroughly and even replaced all covers, spacers, affected. Knowing this, I moved to do the same for the cylinder housing/water jacket. It too needed de-salting. Similar to the engine accessory cooling compartment, I used OEM parts and replaced the entire head unit. New head, new spacers, new gaskets. Etc. All work was conducted to SPEC including bolt torque values. The engine was tested and develops full speed without hesitation. Runs nice and smooth as it should. By the way, when I replaced all the head bolts, I followed good maintenance practices throughout including anti-seize. The lower unit received a new water pump (as should be done routinely), lower unit lube refill, prop removed – inspected – and reinstalled using anti-seize copper infused grease for easy removal on next inspection. A new cotter-pin (Yamaha OEM) was also used. I have all the parts stickers (about 10-15) from this preventative maintenance cycle as proof of what I am claiming here. No worries. The pricing is slightly below market value for this setup/condition. I’d sure like this boat to go to someone who will get good use from this boat and who will maintain it with respect. I have no control but that’s what I would hope.
