1997 Mercury 115 ELPTO – likely less than 300 hours
Runs on the top two cylinders below 1,800 rpm, then the bottom two kick in.
93 octane ethanol-free gasoline and Quicksilver 2-cycle oil since our purchase.
Replaced the voltage regulator about three years ago. Impeller replacement likely due.
Stored on our boat lift in Punta Gorda Isles when not in use. Trailered infrequently - no fuel tank issues.
Galvanized Trailer – like new condition, < 10 miles on bearings and tires, stored indoors when not in use.
NOTE: Purchased boat and trailer in 2001 from the original owner who tore his Achilles tendon shortly after his purchase and was having the fuel system drained after 3 years sitting in his yard. We became licensed Realtors® in 2003. That career path does not allow much time for boating activities due to immediate availability being a major element of success which is why the hours are on the low side.
Boat Export & International Boat Shipping Process
1. Inquiry, Estimate & Inspection Options
Ask us about the boat, condition, documents, purchase price, and international boat shipping cost. We will provide a quick export and shipping estimate. We assist buyers with boat export from the USA and international boat shipping estimates to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, and South America.
Available services:
- Boat Report — $350
- Pre-Purchase Marine Survey — approx. $30-$35 per foot
- Shipping estimate
- Import cost guidance
2. Invoice, Payment & Purchase Coordination
Once the boat details, inspection option, and shipping budget are approved, we issue a formal invoice. Payment is made by bank wire. We then coordinate the purchase with the boat owner.
3. Inland Transport, Export Documents & Ocean Shipping
We arrange inland boat transport, port delivery, export paperwork, and international port-to-port boat shipping. Shipping method depends on boat size, dimensions, trailer status, destination, and available service:
- 20' or 40' HC container shipping
- RORO boat shipping
- 40' flat rack shipping
- LOLO / breakbulk shipping
We can assist with center consoles, bowriders, walkarounds, fishing boats, sport boats, cruisers, yachts, sailboats, and boats on trailers.
4. Optional Export & Protection Services
Depending on the boat and destination, we can also arrange:
- Shrink wrap
- All Risk Marine Insurance
- Shipping cradle
- CE Certification
- Boat registration under Polish or San Marino flag
- FedEx originals / document courier
5. Customs Clearance & Delivery in Your Country
Original documents are sent by FedEx. You hire a customs broker in your country, clear the boat, pay local duties/taxes/VAT, and take delivery.
6. Enjoy Your New Boat
Once customs clearance is complete, enjoy your boat.
