DESCRIPTION:
2001 Mastercraft Maristar 230 VRS.
Always stored indoors during the off-season, this Maristar is a great family boat -- good for water skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing or just cruising. We are second owners (since 2009) of this well-maintained boat. This boat is ready for summer fun. Oil change (new filter), transmission fluid change (new filter) just completed at 680 hours. Impeller was replaced at 646.6 engine hours in May 2024. When using two pump fillable 600 pound "fat sacs" in rear compartments, the wake on this boat is great for wake surfing. Removable bimini is integrated into the wakeboarding tower which has a rope tow hook up high for wake boarding and wake surfing. This boat has a capacity of up to 12 adults or 1,660 pounds with an open bow design and the large rear cockpit.
Tower is removable for storage in garage. Trailer with folding front fork allows boat on trailer to fit in normal garage. Trailer also has "boat buddy" easy load system for boat ramp.
All OEM dashboard gauges were replaced in August 2022 with new Faria Chesapeake white-face gauges, and new gas tank float was installed at same time. Gas tank is full with 60 gallons of fuel -- a bonus!
Aftermarket "Fresh Air Exhaust" system is installed for exhaust-free surfing behind the boat -- a huge improvement in enjoyment and safety from carbon monoxide gas.
Boat is on trailer with intact "Tahoe Only" inspection tag in place -- ready for launching without a new invasive species boat inspection required.
