DESCRIPTION:

2001 Monterey Explorer 240 Sport for sale
24ft long with a bimini top and swim platform.
5.7 250hp Mercury Mercruiser motor
63 gallon fuel capacity
15 gallon potable water capacity
Comes with: life jackets of various sizes, emergency distress signal kit, pole light, 4 bumpers, boat cover, portable toilet, garmin echomap navigation and depth finder, 2 fluke anchors with 100ft of line each.
Since we bought it, we've put in 2 new batteries, new captain's chair, new marine UHF radio, and a new landing gear. We updated the garmin GPS maps. Replaced all 4 tires, all 4 leaf springs, and both brake assemblies (brakes, rotors, calipers, bearings, and brake system was flushed). Both axles have been coated and sealed. Also replaced interior lights with blue LED and docking lights with new white LEDs.
We've taken it out on both freshwater and salt water with no issues. Everything runs perfectly. Top speed we've done around 35mph and can go approximately 100 miles on one tank of gas.
Very fun boat. Some normal wear and tear from being 25 years old. Gators color seats. Still have the old captain's chair in the gator's colors if you want that as well.
Only selling because we want to upgrade to a boat with a cabin. Clean title in hand. w/trailer or 7,500 without. Also willing to trade for cabin cruiser of equal value.
