FULL DESCRIPTION

This is a 233 WA model but it is actually 25ft boat. Not like other 23’s. The cabin is quite large for a 23, the LOA is 24’9", and the beam is 8’6". The hull is 1993 Mako 233 Walk Around and has a molded-in rear bracket type construction.

For Sale w/ 2017 300HP Suzuki, 350Hrs and counting. I use it. Also has trailer.

I recently purchased this boat/motor/trailer, and have put quite some work into it. I intended to use it for Bahamas when I bought it. I have decided to get a center console instead, so it is for sale. Located in South Florida. Just had it bottom painted and it is at a residential dock in Deerfield Beach, easy to show. No fowling on the bottom as I have used it regularly since it hit water.

History of the boat is it was stored on racks interior storage for I think most of its life. Elderly gentlemen had repowered it then for whatever reason did not use from what I was told).The Engine had 150 hrs. I have been taking it fishing in gulf stream and drifting reefs, and let the engine idle when drifting, so the hours have racked up, many at idle. Engine was serviced by Outboard Specialties when I first got it ; full replacement of all service/wear parts, etc including VST tank, thermostats, impeller. Engine is in great condition and strong

The fuel tank was replaced in 2021 from measurements it is 140 gallons, aluminum.

The trailer is 2020, brakes rinsed after use since I have had it. No issues. Magic tilt tandem.

Here is a list of what I have done to it:

• Added macerator fish box pump out & re-plumbed (in deck fish boxes)
• Added wash down pump/strainer & hose
• New high quality rocker switch panel; re-wiring and removal of abandoned circuits etc. I’ve gone through and made sure everything is wired solid/sealed tight w/ no bad deteriorated components, inside console and in rear of boat. Also removed all hidden fuses and have most fuses now at rocker panel and at small distribution center (for electronics/chargers) accessible inside cabin and inside console hatch.
• Re-wired the batteries (everything is solid/sealed no deteriorated components or connections) w/
o blue sea charge relay to allow for isolating batteries and still charge both while running w/out having to ever touch the selector switch
o Permanently installed NOCO genius battery charger (2 bank) for maintaining batteries at dock or out of water
• New Boss stereo w/ 4 new speakers, new wiring. No Amp. Wire type Antenna inside console
• New USB charger ports high amperage
• New courtesy lights (deck) RGB+W
• New spreader lights LED high output front and rear separate circuits
• New seastar hydraulic steering Helm
• New voltage and fuel gauges on dash
• New Atlas HD Jack plate (800lb rated), w/ hydraulic lift and wired to console rocker switch (pretty cool stuff). Also a custom 6061 aluminum reinforcement/stiffener for the engine mounting location at transom lip (to stiffen for the additional moment from 660lbs shifted 5 inches back by jack plate)

Here is some of the things it has:
• Cabin cushions good condition
• Full rear bench cushions w/ backrests, good condition
• Windlass, working (I do not have right size line for it though). Anchor but no line comes with boat. Bow pulpit
• Livewell built in to the cap at rear of boat (replumbed and new large pump)
• Bennet trim tabs, working. New trim tab switches
• Cabin windows no leaks
• Aluminum top & canvas, good condition. All wiring to top has been retrofitted inside the tubing.
• VHF w/ antenna
• Garmin plotter combo echomap 74cv (works to at least 1500ft depth)
• Compass
• Nav lights work
• There is some sort of swamp cooler AC in the cabin. I don’t know how this contraption works but the fan spins fine so presumably it works. It is wired to a AC inverter w/ AC outlets, in the cabin
• Leaning post has large tackle organizer and excellent cooler built in for drinks.
• Large aluminum dive ladder (gets in the way of fishing so I took it off)
• Fresh water tank up front 25 gallons I think, pump, shower (exterior) and interior sink
• Gelcoat in good condition. I have done some buffing, but it could use more if you’re into that.
• Outriggers

I fixed this boat up with a lot of TLC; only been putting rec90 in it, not running it too hard, 4000 to 4500 RPM cruise. stainless prop (Suzuki) has some dings, have not bothered with that. Current set up gets to 5500 RPM could use slightly different prop (WOT for that engine is listed at 5700-6300 RPM). Top end as is 38mph, cruise around 25 to 30mph, depending on conditions. Fuel burn is 2.3mpg cruise. Bahamas round trip w/out refueling no problem. W/ the hydraulic jack plate you can optimize the engine height on the fly, for loading and seastate conditions.

It is a heavy boat and rock solid, it’s got that legendary heavy mako construction. No water intrusion no soft anything. Hull handles chop very well, good for going offshore – Deep V, not made for cruising the intracoastal. Ready for a walk-around enthusiast, of which, it turns out, I am not. for boat w/ trailer. Trade for center console considered, but please no projects, must be turn key.
