DESCRIPTION:
For Sale is a 2017 Four Winns 240 HD, optioned with the large and in charge Volvo Penta 350 HP V8 paired to the large Dual Prop Volvo Penta Outdrive. The boat comes with a dual axle Four Winns trailer with surge brakes and a foldable tongue.
The Four Winns 240 HD is one of the biggest 24 foot open bow boats on the market, with its tall freeboard and well oversized bow. Because of the tall freeboard, every “under seat” storage compartment is much larger than in the H (Horizon) series Four Winns line. A door swings open on the port side, in front of the captains chair for an onboard head or for more storage.
This boat was only ever operated in Lake Tahoe’s fresh water, never any salt water. It is currently registered and ready to go on a test drive. I have a clean title for both the boat and for the trailer.
I enjoy soaking up the sun on the oversized rear facing lounger on the swim deck, or sitting in the U shaped cockpit, under the large Bimini top while listening to music over Bluetooth with the Premium JL Audio sound system, which includes a stock subwoofer.
The transom walkthrough enables you to pass easily from the swim deck into the cockpit without having to step on the upholstery. If you pull up to a beach there is also a ladder in the bow for boarding which hides the anchor. This boat features two ski lockers in the center of the cockpit, the larger rear one has plenty of room for wakeboards, water skis and or a deflated tube and the smaller one in the bow is great for your dry items.
This boat is rated for 13 passengers and comes with everything you need. Snap in bow and cockpit cover, perko switch for the dual batteries, 13 PFD’s, an aftermarket CB radio, mounted fire extinguisher, boat hook, paddle and ski flag.
You must take a test drive or at least see this boat in person to truly appreciate the well designed layout. This boat was always mechanically maintained well and was used in a charter - rental fleet.
