DESCRIPTION:
The 230DC is the ideal boat for family outings, exploring new horizons, getting away from it all, and getting there in comfort. This mid-size dual console boat features World Cat’s famous smoother, more stable, drier ride, and it includes comfort features like a full-sized head enclosure, a must for the ladies and kids, and seating for up to ten thanks to its big 8’6” beam.
The amount of cockpit space this 23’ boat has is amazing! More than most 28 footers I’ve been on. And this boat can go anywhere a 28-30 monohull can and has a draft of only 11”. This boat is great for cruising, family outings, fishing and sips fuel!
I have meticulously maintained this boat and it is still in fantastic condition. It has been washed down after every single outing, waxed 2x/ year with Jescar’s Ultra Lock Plus Ceramic/Polymer Sealant by me so that I know it was done right! In between wax jobs, it has been sprayed with Nautical One Hydro rinse Sio2 Coating as an additional aid to protect the gel coat and the deck sealed with Nautical One Non-Skid Sealer and Protectant.
The engines have equally been meticulously maintained; REC 90 fuel always used along with Yamaha ring free and flushed within minutes after every use and “Salt Away” flushed several times per year. These engines are strong, healthy and the F115’s are bullet proof and have always been treated with great care & respect.
The 2016 “Magic Tilt” tandem trailer with heavy duty 65” guide-on posts and spare tire, was just completely rebuilt December 2024 by All County Trailer for (have receipt) and is essentially a brand-new trailer with all new lights all the way around, both axles, all braking systems, safety chains etc. The new axles and torsion arms were coated with several coats of CRC Heavy Duty corrosion inhibitor and the axles and brake systems are flushed with “Salt Away” immediately within minutes after pulling the trailer out of the saltwater.
I recently replaced the seals in the hydraulic steering cylinder, flushed the system and replaced all the old hydraulic fluid with new, so this should be good for several more years. Port side engine has a brand-new battery. The head has always only been used as a “dry head”.
2025 models list for k without a trailer, or cover and all the extras noted below. You can have a “slightly used,” boat with relatively low hours, lovingly owned and maintained by a mechanic, for a great price at almost half the cost of a new boat and trailer.
