DESCRIPTION:
If you're looking for a turn-key affordable entry into boating, this 2018 Bayliner Element 16 with 75hp 4 stroke Mercury engine is the one for you! At a combined weight of 2,000 lbs the boat and trailer are light enough to be towed by a small SUV but large enough for your lake or coastal adventures. We purchased then started using the boat in the beginning of 2025. It had 364 hours on the engine. We first took it to The Outboard Shop for a full inspection and 300 hour service. We have the receipt for all the work performed. We also replaced the entire fuel system with a new 12 gallon fuel tank, fuel line, and optional fuel filter. Because the speedometer on these boats never continue to work we installed the Mercury Marine SmartCraft Connect VesselView on the engine which allows us to monitor rpm, speed, fuel flow and efficiency, temperature and more directly on our phone. We installed a dual battery system with a new battery to always have power to start the engine. We can use one battery while underway and the other battery for music and lights at the sandbar. To prevent flooding we installed a new automatic bilge pump. Our goal was to ensure that we were never stranded at sea due to flooding, engine, fuel, or battery problems! It comes with a Lowrance HOOK-5 fish finder/chart-plotter with GPS, a bimini top, full boat cover, and 2018 boat trailer. We will include the six required life vests, fire extinguisher, and distress signaling devices to make you legal on the water. For the sandbar and beaches we installed a Hydro-Shield to protect the propeller from damage caused by potential impacts, and to improve handling underway. We found the stock anchor to be insufficient, so we upgraded to a new Five Oceans 16.5 lb delta style wing anchor and 6ft chain attached to 100ft line for maximum holding power. The original anchor can be use as a stern anchor for added stability. We also upgraded the sound system with new wiring and LED lit speakers. The trailer upgrades include new LED lights, boat post guides, Extreme Max transom saver for supporting the engine while traveling, and the Boat2Trailer boat latch system. So there is no more need to enter the water to hook up the tow strap and crank the boat in. We just drive between post guides and the boat automatically locks onto the trailer! Launching the boat is just as easy with no need to enter the water. With the swing tongue the trailer can even be stored in a garage. And if you live on the Middle River and plan to keep the boat in the water but have several fixed bridges to get to the ocean, this boat will fit under all of them even during a normal high tide. We thought of everything and spared no expense to make this boat as safe and convenient as possible. Do your cost comparisons and you will not find a truly turn-key, no issues, easy to use, boat and trailer setup with all that's included at this price. We used the boat for one summer sailing, up the intracoastal waterway to the Ft. Lauderdale sandbar and Hollywood Beach, and trailering it to Peanut Island putting only 23 hours on the engine. Ready to sell with clean titles for both the boat and trailer.
