DESCRIPTION:
Clean, stable skinny water skiff. Easy to tow, launch, and store. We mostly fish out of Sutherland Bayou, but on calm days have run it out to Sand Bay, Anclote, and Honeymoon.
Specs:
15’4” hull
Suzuki 30HP 4-stroke (143 hours, just serviced)
Continental trailer
Clean title
Extras:
Garmin 93sv
Minn Kota 40lb trolling motor (nose mount)
Custom poling platform and casting deck
2 live wells
Rod and cup holders
Yeti cooler
Anchor and extra prop
Push pole (included at full price)
Fuel story:
We had a weird issue where the motor would run great, then suddenly bog down. Then it’d be fine for days. Drove us crazy. Our mechanic finally figured it out — the original built-in tank (Gheenoe had built the compartment around it) was breaking down and shedding plastic flakes. Those flakes would block the fuel line, then drop away when we stopped to fish. He cut the tank out and we swapped in a 3-gal portable tank. A 4.5-gal fits too. No issues since.
Quirks:
Trolling motor is secured with a bolt for trailering — easy to upgrade
Small gel coat scrape from oysters — cosmetic only, repaired before we owned it. We’ll show it in photos and video
We priced it to sell. To build this setup today would run well over K.
