This Beautiful 28’ (30 Actual) Flybridge Bertram has been restored to a high level. Less than 100 Hours on Fresh Water-Cooled Overhaul Restoration. The Bertram 28 Original Bullet Proof Re-gel coated Hull goes fast in big seas and provides a solid ride. The Bertram features a Professionally rebuilt and refinished cockpit that makes fishing a pleasure. Inside the Fishing Area the cockpit the walls are a white cored Fiberglass light weight aircraft style panels instead of the original plywood as is the wall between the cockpit and the cabin making the yacht lighter, more economical, and easier to maintain. The interior as well is fully replaced with modern aircraft style lightweight materials.
Both Newer 300 Crusader FRESH WATER COOLED engines are replacements. The newer Crusaders have been rebuilt from the Block Up and include the powerful F-40 Heads and all new Fresh water cooled exhaust and all Stainless hardware. The engines just hum and run excellent and have less than 100 hours since rebuilds. If you run at 2200 RPM you only run on the 2 barrels and will cruise at around 20+MPH all will using very little fuel. The Fresh Water Cooled Engines feature New Exhaust Manifolds, Hoses, Clamps, Belts, Etc. New Pertonix high energy Electronic Ignition, Coils, Wires, Plugs, Alternators, Rebuilt Raw Water Pumps, and all Bolts and Hardware have been replaced with New Stainless. Both engines have Easy Pump out Oil Change systems. 4 New Batteries late 2024, 3 Bilge Pumps, New Anchor, Chain and Rope, Windless Anchor System. Includes all replaced Canvases including covered fishing cockpit, and all new Stainless Frames including a fully enclosed Bridge with roll up Isinglass panels. The original super strong Fiberglass Hull is from 1972 if you know anything about Bertram they were grossly overbuilt between 1972-1976. This one was re-gelcoated by the previous owner and shines nicely.
Down Below in the cabin all the interior was replaced with super lightweight areo-style Fiberglass core Teak wood panels. There are 2 sleeping berths. A New Electric Flush Commode and Macerator. Salt and Fresh Water Wash Down in Cockpit, Trim Tabs, 2 GPS, Fish and Depth finders. 2 Am/Fm Radios one in the cabin and one in the bridge. LED Accent Lighting. New VHF. And a never used Refrigerator. There is no AC but the previous owner had one that fit the front hatch. There is an outlet up there for it. There is no Genset but the boat was born with one if you want to add it back it has the space between engines. The dash plate in the Bridge was replaced with a new Titanium dash plate and all gages have been replaced and are all new. Gas Tank is also is custom made Titanium 220+ gal. Custom Swim platform that also extends the Boats Hull Length making it ride like a longer boat. The boat runs and rides excellent. Needs Nothing but your fishing poles, Thanks for looking..
